I had the pleasure to kick off together with Jordi Albo-Canals at the Fòrum Internacional d’Educació i Tecnologia (FIETxs2019) on May 30 at the Colegio Oficial de Agentes Comerciales de Barcelona (COACB). This is a research meeting between 9 Universities in Catalan and hosted by the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). The aim of the seminar was to open a dialogue between two experts, Jordi Albó-Canals (Tufts University, USA) and Daniel Spikol (Malmö University, Sweden), “Artificial Intelligence in Education: Lights and Shadows“, which will turn the focus on key aspects, from their experience and practice, that are considered promissory or threatening with regards to the application of AI in education.
