I participated in the eighth annual International Conference on Game Jams, Hackathons, and Game Creation Events (ICGJ 2024). I presented a full paper, “Investigating Hackathons with Collaboration Analytics,” co-authored with Zaibei Li, Karl Rapur, Ayano Ohsaki, and Alex Nolte. A short paper, “The Role of Slowing Down in Fast-Paced Game Jams” with Jeanette Falk, Diana Meda, and Mark Melnykowycz. We also organized a workshop on AI in education using game jams and hackathons.ICGJ is an interdisciplinary conference for researchers, educators, professionals, and event organizers across various fields related to game jams and hackathons. This one-day conference will be hosted at Aalborg University in Copenhagen.
